On behalf of the children and staff I am delighted to welcome you to our website. I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog and to be working with such wonderful children, staff and parents.
Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog is an English medium Primary School located between St. Asaph and Bodelwyddan. We enjoy a beautiful, rural location with the most wonderful views without being too far from the closest towns and city.
Our mission statement 'ignite, excite, inspire - tanio, cyffroi, ysbrydoli' reflects the aims of our learning community. We pride ourselves on the broad, balanced and engaging education that we provide for all of our pupils, and the high standards of teaching and learning are a credit to the hard work of both the staff and children.
Our children have one chance in education, they deserve the very best and, as a staff, we strive to deliver that.
At Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog our pupils are at the heart of every decision that we make. Our work allows for all children to develop their academic, social and independent skills, supporting them to build confidence, self-reliance and make informed decisions and choices as they grow. We want children to really enjoy school and to love learning, making it a lifelong habit.
